The Admission Process

  1. Step 1

    Registration

    Our front-office team registers your details and confirms your SHA or insurance cover before you're seen.

  2. Step 2

    Clinical Assessment

    A nurse or clinical officer assesses your condition to determine the right level of care and which ward is appropriate.

  3. Step 3

    Ward Admission

    You're shown to your ward and introduced to the nursing team, who will explain the daily routine and visiting hours.

  4. Step 4

    Discharge

    Before you leave, your doctor reviews your progress and provides a discharge summary, and our billing team settles any outstanding balance with your insurer or directly with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. HAAB Medical Centre is a registered SHA facility and accepts SHIF cover for both outpatient and inpatient care. Bring your SHA member details when you check in and our front desk will confirm your cover before treatment begins.
